After being introduced to yoga in high school as a supplement to classical ballet training, I was hooked. I was a competitive dancer for many years growing up but never had the time to dedicate to this other passion of mine. Throughout college, I got more involved with the yoga studio on campus and started practicing regularly. I found that regular practice really benefited my mental wellbeing and helped to cope with anxiety and depression.

After college in Minnesota, I moved to Denver, where I practiced power yoga for several years at CorePower Yoga studios in the city. Yoga was always my release from the business of life, my way to drown out the noise. Yoga was my way of focusing on self-love and self-acceptance.

Today, yoga still serves me as a journey of self-discovery, transformational with every practice, and a way to stay mentally and physically fit. I earned my 200-hour RYT certificate through CorePower Yoga of Denver, CO, in 2021. I believe that knowledge is power, so I teach yoga to share the powerful benefits of it and to be inspired by the journey of others.
