My yoga journey started over 5 years ago after I had graduated college and my body was left injured and tired from many years of track and field. I knew it was time for something different and had always wanted to incorporate yoga into my lifestyle. I started playing around with acro yoga and attending yoga classes regularly in my community.
Instantly I knew this is something I’d want to eventually share with others through teaching. Yoga made me feel so mentally and physically strong. I love the way my practice is constantly changing and growing. In July 2017 I traveled to Costa Rica where I received my 200hr yoga certification through Om West.
Yoga has brought so much more to my life than I could have ever imagined. I’ve tested myself physically and mentally in ways I did not anticipate. I’ve also made great friendships through the yoga community. My passion for my practice and desire to learn more continues to grow.
